Heart Iced Tea

Hello lovelies! Welcome to the new Lola Nova Blog.

This is where I will be sharing news, photos, recipes, and the occasional ramblings of a tea maker. Thank you for visiting and please feel free to comment!

We are just starting to feel the beginning whispers of Fall here in the Pacific Northwest, still I have a feeling that there will be yet a few more warm days filled with sunshine. On that note, I wanted to talk about chilling out with a refreshing cool drink for warm days, or anytime you want to quench your thirst.

Lola Nova Heart Tea makes the best iced tea! No really! It has the fruity flavors of hibiscus, rose hips, and rose, with a little kick of spice from cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger. They all compliment each other in a most enticing way. And would you look at that beautiful color! You can drink it as is, or add a wedge of lemon, a sprig of mint, or a splash of honey or simple syrup if you like the sweet things in life.

Directions: Use a heat proof container and combine 1/4 cup of our Heart Tea and approximately one half gallon of freshly boiled water. Let the mixture steep until cooled to room temperature. Then remove tea strainer (or strain tea from liquid if not using a tea strainer) . Chill tea in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until cold. Serve as desired and enjoy!

That’s all for now, but I will be back with more cool stuff soon.

Take care my dears and have a wonderful day!

Lola
